Sustainability
Living and working in a beautiful rural area we take our responsibilities seriously. Find out more below about how we are considering sustainability throughout your stay.

Sustainable Actions
Living and working in a beautiful rural area we take our responsibilities seriously.
During the build we employed local tradesmen and used local, reclaimed or recycled materials where possible. Electricity is generated by solar panels on the farm and supplied to the units when available.
We have made adjustments onsite to ensure your stay allows you to be as sustainable as possible.
We have planted over 300 native hedging plants and a wildflower meadow.
A long forgotten vegetable patch and orchard have been reinstated to allow you to ‘pick your own’ fruit and vegetables during your stay.
The hens in the orchard supply eggs for the breakfast hampers.
We only use eco friendly cleaning products and toiletries which are supplied in refillable glass bottles by our local plastic free shop.
Why not leave your car on site and use pedal power to visit the local area or village pub, using our onsite bikes free of charge.

Responsible Visitor Charter
At Copper Beech Glamping, we recognise that we have environmental responsibility and are committed to working towards a sustainable future, aiming to demonstrate environmentally friendly/sustainable actions that we can all incorporate into our everyday lives.
Be a responsible visitor. Here are some ways in which you can help us to help the environment:
Conserve energy
Reduce energy by switching off the lights in your accommodation when you leave it and outside lights overnight. Close windows if the heating is on. Charge your phone in the car when you are driving, it’s free energy!
Buy local products and support local events
Reduce the impact of transport on the environment. We are fortunate to have some fantastic producers of food, drink, arts and crafts. Our breakfast and bbq packs contain local, sustainable produce and you can help yourself to our seasonal fruit and vegetables from the onsite veg patch. See the notice board and guest information pack or ask us about local markets, festivals and cultural events.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We make a substantial effort to reduce, reuse and recycle. Please assist us by avoiding over-packaged goods and saying “no thanks!” to that extra carrier bag (borrow one of our canvas shopping bags). Try and recycle any waste you have by using our onsite facilities.
Give the Car a Rest
Leave the car behind, if only for a day! Walk on our quiet country lanes and public footpaths, take a ride on our free bicycles or use public transport.
Be Water Wise
Please use water wisely. Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth or use water conservatively when having a shave or taking a shower.
Respect Nature
Help us to look after the beautiful Staffordshire landscape and wildlife by not littering, guarding against fire and using footpaths responsibly. Ensure you always follow the Countryside Code.
Support Green Tourism Businesses
We are proud to be a member of Green Tourism, committed to reducing our environmental impact through the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
