Discover the Staffordshire Countryside
Our working beef and sheep farm has been in the family for over 50 years.
Easily accessible and only 10 minutes away from the M6 motorway in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, but feels a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life.
The site is dominated by an impressive Copper Beech tree and overlooks permanent grassland where the sheep and cattle graze. Our guest accommodation is situated in an area previously used as the farm’s kitchen garden and orchard.
Our Ethos
Stepping away from your everyday life to relax and feel restored is no longer seen as an indulgence; rather it has become a necessary safety valve in our fast-paced world. We encourage guests to come and contemplate life at a slower pace.
We celebrate our ruralness; our interiors link to the setting – referencing the farming life in our shepherd’s hut, the woodland in our lodge and the traditional garden in our cabin. Guests may find their stay has coincided with lambing or shearing on the farm or a ploughing match or harvest festival nearby.
Sustainability and locality are important – from renewable energy sources and encouraging biodiversity to recycled and eco-friendly products. Pick your own fruit, vegetables and herbs from our onsite allotment and orchard when in season.
